SYLLABUS FOR CLASS 12 ACADEMIC ELECTIVES
SESSION 2023-24
Academic subjects are offered by CBSE at both secondary level and senior secondary level under Scolastic Areas of curriculum mentioned as Group-A. The purpose of academic subject is to allow the student to explore some areas of interest and to broaden his educational qualification. Subsequently study of academic subjects have a lot of effect on our brain as well as in our life.
Academic subjets are compulsory to study for students. Therefore CBSE offers various subjects as academic electives. A student has the option of selecting his/her choice of subjects from available academic electives(Group-A) in CBSE curriculum. The focus of studying academic electives is to acquire knowledge and skills to develop a holistic attitude and to use and apply such knowledge for improving the quality of life.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR STUDENTS :- Class XI and XII is an integrated course. Students need to take only those subjects in class XI which he/she intends to continue in class-XII. Students can offer a minimum of 5 or more subjects in class XI. They need to continue the same subjects in class XII also.
